Visions of Perfection
War of Creation
When Vorugal rose from the black depths of the Abyss, he rose with a will to corrupt all of existence. All that stood against the Black King and his horde of demons was Amaterasu and her divine subjects. This conflict would determine the fate over the entirety of the Multiverse and has come to be known as the War of Creation. In the early conflicts of the war Vorugal was simply overpowered by the divine strength of the gods and was beaten back countless times. But Vorugal could not be destroyed even by gods, everytime he was driven back to the Abyss he crawled out more powerful and with a larger horde. Vorugal swept Eos with his corrupting gaze turning hundreds of heroes and infecting the land with great decay, his demonic hordes burnt and slaughtered any they came across, his lesser incarnations waged battles against the gods, and his Dread Riders the Wild Hunt commanded his legions with ruthless efficiency and prowess. Yet despite his immeasurable power, Vorugal found the gods resistant to his strength each time. Amaterasu used her divine sun to cleanse the land of Vorugals corrruption and burn away the hordes that infested them, with her divine blade she cut down Vorugal countless times. Susano commanded great storms to cut down thousands of demons and dueled Vorugal’s lesser incarnations with his sword of unbridled wrath. Drakna weaved the Tapestry to grant mortals the strength to resist the hordes and cause the most deadly of strikes to miss by an inch. Salakna created the Twilight Vanguard and commanded Amaterasus children to combat Kragmaw and his Wild Hunt. Nito unleashed a wave of decay and death destroying the resistant forms of the demonic lords. But unfortunately, despite all their power, the gods couldn’t destroy Vorugal. With his hordes and form growing ever stronger, his victory was a trivial question of when not if. Amaterasu then gave the ultimate sacrafice and pierced her heart with her great blade, releasing the power of her Fire of Soul. This great strength chained and bound Vorugal to the deepest pit of the Abyss from whence he came and restrained the gods to the Divine Plane in order to prevent Vorugal’s presence to be drawn back. Yet, the war drags on with Vorugal awaiting his prohphesized freedom from his prison and his wrath will know no limit.
